Hello peeps! Ever seen those cards that have beautiful verses/sentiments as the main feature on them? I tried to do one with a new technique today, kinda played around with my nestabilites & totally loving how the card turned out :) I got inspired by these cards from Nathalia castellon. I so loved them I had to try it out and make one i can call my own. Me likey so I hope you likey choo! I am so in love with the Cornish Heritage Farms 'scripture essentials I' stamp set, the verses are simply lovely! It helps that it's red rubber & unmounted too haha. There're 3 layers just on the main feature of the card itself (excluding the bottom layer & the card base), if you'd like a video on how I made this let me know & I'll make one for ya :) It could be a pretty long one though considering there're quite a few steps *lol* But hey, if you'll watch it I'll make it! Or I could do a shorter one showing you only the gist. Hmmm....
Anyhoo, do you have any fabourite sentiments/verses? Let them inspire you today!
Here's a closey up:
Yeap, i stuck those little pearl darlings one by one! I just had to, this card was screaming out to me for them :) The ripe avacado cardstock is also 'swissy dot' embossed plus some machine stitching too. I think I may be channelling Becca Feeken here, she's the goddess of romantic details i tell ya.
On another note, I was featured on CardoftheWeek.com! And a whole section to myself at that. I mean like, wow seriously I am SO honoured :)
Now I can officially use their 'i was featured on cardoftheweek' blinkie MUAHAHA! *hit me on the head pls someone*
SO here's a screen print thingy:
